Downtown LA’s Grand Park has been instant success. This video illustrates the urban context and documents how design can impact a diverse public, from children to senior citizens. It shows the park major features: the restored and expanded fountain with interactive date jets, the drought-tolerant planting, the magenta-colored mobile furniture.
Part 2 brings up some examples of new projects built in London in parallel with the Olympic Games.
